scrapestack
The steepest residential multiplier in this tier and the one buried furthest from the price. The pricing page sells flat monthly request allowances - $19.99 for 200,000, $79.99 for 1,000,000 - and says nothing about multipliers at all; the docs then charge a premium (residential) request as 25 API requests, which turns a $0.10 per 1,000 plan into $2.50 per 1,000 the moment you touch a site that needs a residential IP. It also gates that mode to the $79.99 Professional plan and above. Then the documentation disagrees with itself about JavaScript: the API features page says twice that render_js "must be used together with premium_proxy", which would make every rendered page cost 25 and need Professional, while the API reference says render_js is "Available on Basic plan and higher". The pricing page's own feature grid takes the second view and marks JavaScript rendering as included from Basic. Both were read today; neither is corrected by the other. The docs also refer to a "Premium plan" that does not exist on the price list. What is unambiguous and good: errors are free, in scrapestack's own words, and the per-request overage rate is published for every paid tier, which is rare here. The free tier is 100 requests a month on standard proxies, effectively a smoke test.

List prices, dollars per 1,000 Plain pages at the cheapest published route to each volume. How this is worked out
Every published plan
| Plan | Price | Included requests | Overage each | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 per month | 100 | hard cap | 100 requests a month. Standard proxies only: no JavaScript rendering, no 100+ geolocations, no premium proxies. |
| Basic | $19.99 per month | 200,000 | $0.0004 | 200,000 requests. Includes JavaScript rendering and 100+ geolocations but NOT premium proxies, and the docs say render_js must be used with premium_proxy, so the rendering on this tier is not usable as documented. $17.99/month billed yearly. |
| Professional | $79.99 per month | 1,000,000 | $0.0003 | 1,000,000 requests. Marked Most Popular. First tier with premium (residential) proxies: "For customers subscribed to the Professional Plan or higher, the scrapestack API allows access to premium (residential) proxies." $69.99/month billed yearly. |
| Business | $200 per month | 3,000,000 | $0.0003 | 3,000,000 requests, premium proxies, optional Platinum Support. $169.99/month billed yearly, the full 15%. |
| Enterprise | on request | - | not published | Custom volume and pricing, contact sales. Includes JavaScript rendering, geolocations and premium proxies. No public price. |
Standard proxies are 1: "single requests using standard proxies are charged as only 1 API request." Premium (residential) proxies are 25: "Please note that a single premium proxy API request is counted as 25 API requests" and "a single request using premium proxies will be charged as 25 API requests". Anti-bot carries the same 25 because it is the same purchase - the API reference describes premium_proxy as "premium (residential) proxies (recommended when scraping anti-bot sites)" and scrapestack sells no separate stealth or unblocker tier. JavaScript rendering is 1 because no multiplier is published for render_js anywhere in the docs; the catch is a plan gate rather than a price, and a bigger one than a multiplier: the API features page says twice that render_js "must be used together with premium_proxy", so in practice a rendered page is charged at the premium 25 and is only available from the $79.99 Professional plan up. Markdown is null: no markdown or output-format parameter exists.

Where these numbers came from
- https://scrapestack.com/product read 2026-09-14 / Plan table: Free $0 / 100 requests; Basic $19.99 monthly, $17.99 yearly / 200,000; Professional $79.99 monthly, $69.99 yearly / 1,000,000; Business $199.99 monthly, $169.99 yearly / 3,000,000; Enterprise custom. Yearly is "up to 15% lower" - it works out at 10% on Basic, 12.5% on Professional and 15% on Business. Feature grid: JavaScript rendering and 100+ geolocations from Basic up, premium (residential) proxies on Professional and above only, nothing but standard proxies on Free. Published overage rates per request past the quota: Basic $0.0003998, Professional $0.00031996, Business $0.0002666533.
- https://scrapestack.com/faq read 2026-09-14 / The failure policy, verbatim under "What is an API Request?": "Pricing is based on the number of monthly API requests allowed. Each time the scrapestack service is used to process a URL, one API request is made. In the event that an error should occur, your request does not count towards the monthly volume." The same text appears in the FAQ block at the bottom of the pricing page.
- https://docs.apilayer.com/scrapestack/docs/api-features read 2026-09-14 / The multiplier, which appears nowhere on the pricing page. Request-parameter table, premium_proxy row: "Please note that a single premium proxy API request is counted as 25 API requests." Premium Proxies section: "Please note that a single request using premium proxies will be charged as 25 API requests, while single requests using standard proxies are charged as only 1 API request", and "For customers subscribed to the Professional Plan or higher, the scrapestack API allows access to premium (residential) proxies, which are associated with real residential addresses." The render_js row and the JavaScript Rendering section both say "This option must be used together with premium_proxy which is available on the Premium plan" - a plan name that does not exist on the pricing page, where the tiers are Free, Basic, Professional, Business and Enterprise. No multiplier is published for render_js or for proxy_location.
- https://docs.apilayer.com/scrapestack/docs/scrapestack-api-v-1-0-0 read 2026-09-14 / API reference. premium_proxy: "Set to 1 to enable premium (residential) proxies (recommended when scraping anti-bot sites). Premium proxy usage is subject to plan restrictions and each premium proxy request counts as 25 API requests for billing." render_js: "Set to 1 to enable JavaScript rendering (headless Chrome). Default 0 (off). Available on Basic plan and higher." That sentence contradicts the api-features page, which says render_js must be paired with premium_proxy and therefore needs Professional.
- https://scrapestack.com/ read 2026-09-14 / "35+ million datacenter and residential IP addresses", "CAPTCHA solving, browser support and JS rendering", "premium pricing plans start at $19.99 per month".
