ZenRows
Four fixed weights and no small print: 1 plain, 5 rendered, 10 residential, 25 protected, identical on every plan, so the only thing you buy as you move up the thirteen rungs is more credits. Build B1 at $19 for 45,000 credits is $0.42 per 1,000 plain pages and $10.56 per 1,000 protected ones. Markdown is a free output parameter, so LLM-ready text costs the same as HTML. It is the only provider in this group with a real free plan, 5,000 credits every month with no card, and it bills successful responses only, counting 404 and 410 as successes. The catches: there is no pay-as-you-go at all, an overdrawn plan is fixed with top-up packs rather than metered overage (four a period, priced per rung), and the anti-bot answer is the same protected tier as the rest of the ladder rather than a separate stealth pool. Standalone residential proxies and browser sessions are billed per gigabyte, 25,000 credits per GB, which is not a per-page price and is left out of the table. The SLA is Enterprise-only. Left null: any per-credit overage rate, which does not exist.

Docs pricing table, "Cost Multipliers for Fetch": standard request 1 credit, JavaScript Rendering 5, Premium Proxies 10, "JS Rendering + Premium Proxies (protected)" 25. The docs add that "these credit weights are fixed and never change. A JavaScript-rendered request always costs 5 credits, a protected request always costs 25, on every plan." Premium Proxies is the residential tier ("over 55 million residential IPs from 190+ countries"), and protected at 25 is the top of the ladder ZenRows sells against anti-bot walls - there is no separate stealth product above it. Markdown is 1 because response_type=markdown (and plaintext, and pdf) is a free output parameter on the ordinary Fetch call, so a plain page returned as Markdown is the same single credit; it costs 5 or 25 if that page also needs a browser or the protected stack. Adaptive Stealth Mode (mode=auto) starts at the cheapest viable setup and escalates, and the docs promise that "if multiple internal attempts are needed before success, only the successful request is charged", so the credit cost of an auto call is whichever rung finally worked. Two prices that are not per page and are deliberately left out of the verticals above: standalone Residential Proxies (the legacy proxy-port product) meter at 25,000 credits per GB, and Browser Sessions bill that same bandwidth rate plus 5 credits per minute of session time. The docs' own rule of thumb is "1 GB = 25,000 credits = 1,000 protected pages."

Where these numbers came from
- https://docs.zenrows.com/first-steps/pricing read 2026-09-14 / the authoritative page: the 1 / 5 / 10 / 25 multiplier table and "these credit weights are fixed and never change"; all 13 self-serve rungs with monthly USD and credits (Free 0/5,000 through Scale S3 999/12,500,000) plus Enterprise; the top-up pack price for every rung and the limit of 4 a period; concurrency, support and rollover by tier; "You're charged only for successful requests. Failed or retried requests don't consume your balance. HTTP 404 and 410 responses count as successful"; Residential Proxies at 25,000 credits per GB and Browser Sessions at that plus 5 credits a minute; "Paying yearly gives you two months free (pay for 10, get 12)"; "Does Zenrows offer Pay-As-You-Go plans? Not as a standalone option today"; SLA, SOC 2 and ISO 27001 on Enterprise only
- https://www.zenrows.com/pricing read 2026-09-14 / plan cards sharing the same rungs, the "Monthly / Annual Save 17%" toggle whose annual column reads $16, $57, $165 and $456 a month for Build, Launch, Growth and Scale, "Start free, pay only for successful requests", "5,000 credits/month - no card", "Everything unlocked", and the footnote "Extract adds no cost beyond the Fetch request it uses; Batch bills at the same per-request rate as Fetch. Prices in USD." The monthly figures in this record come from the docs table, which prints every rung rather than the four the slider shows.
- https://docs.zenrows.com/fetch/api-reference.md read 2026-09-14 / parameter list: premium_proxy ("Route through residential IPs"), js_render, proxy_country, response_type ("Convert HTML to other formats (Markdown, Plaintext, PDF)"), autoparse, css_extractor, session_id, mode=auto; and the same credit list, 1 / 5 / 10 / 25, with "only the successful request is charged" under Adaptive Stealth Mode
- https://docs.zenrows.com/fetch/features/markdown.md read 2026-09-14 / "The response_type=markdown parameter tells Zenrows to convert the scraped page's HTML into clean Markdown before returning the response"; no credit surcharge is stated anywhere on the page
- https://docs.zenrows.com/legacy/residential-proxies/introduction.md read 2026-09-14 / the proxy-port product, now marked Legacy: 55M+ rotating IPs, 190+ countries, sticky sessions, billed on bandwidth rather than per page
